英語ダイアローグ～【ビジネス】人手不足
プロジェクトの遅れに焦る二人の会話です。
人手不足は会社の悩み。
でも人件費が一番高いのも、また悩み。
社会は悩みで出来ている(なんのこっちゃ)
終わらなくってどうしよう
【英文】
Bianca : Is your project going all right?
Kenneth: Actually, we’re about two days behind schedule.
Bianca : I didn’t know that.
Will you be able to meet the deadline?
Kenneth: I think it will be difficult at this pace.
Bianca : But this project has to be done on time.
【和訳】
ビアンカ: プロジェクトは順調に進んでいますか？
ケネス : それが、2日ほど予定から遅れているんです。
ビアンカ: それは知りませんでした。
期限までに終わりそうですか？
ケネス : このペースだと難しいと思います。
ビアンカ: だけどこのプロジェクトは期限内に終わらせないといけないんです。
人手が足りない
【英文】
Bianca : Why is your project behind schedule?
Kenneth: We’re really understaffed.
Bianca : How many people do you need?
Kenneth: At least three.
Bianca : That’s going to be difficult.
Kenneth: But we can’t meet the deadline without more staff.
【和訳】
ビアンカ: どうしてプロジェクトは予定から遅れているのですか？
ケネス : 人手が本当に足りなくて。
ビアンカ: 何人ほど必要ですか？
ケネス : 少なくとも3人です。
ビアンカ: 難しいですね。
ケネス : でも人がもっといないと、期限内に終わらせることが出来ません。

Bianca : I wish you would have told me earlier that you were short on staff.
Kenneth: I’m sorry.
Bianca : What about working overtime?
Kenneth: We don’t have much of a choice.
Bianca : I’ll ask other departments if they can spare anyone.

ビアンカ: 人が足りないなら、もっと早く知らせてほしかったです。
ケネス : すみません。
ビアンカ: 残業するというのはどうですか？
ケネス : やるしかないですね。
